they aren't as big thumb keys as the earlier ones, but they're
great! It is a lot lighter than previous models.

Subject: [Braillenote] Introduction
Hello,
I am considering the purchase of a BrailleNote Apex, or Braille
Sense Plus.
I am interested in the eighteen cell model, and also want to be
able to use the Sendero GPS program.
I have been using a Pac Mate Omni BX 420.
I have not had the opportunity to have any hands on experience
with either the Apex or BSP.
I would be particularly interested in hearing comments from users
who have some knowledge of both units, and especially, if someone
chose an Apex.
One comment from a BSP user to me was that they found the thumb
keys on the Apex to not be quite as convenient as the older
BrailleNotes.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from Apex users.
Crystal
