Ottawa Canada Dear Josh and List:
Thanks for the introduction. I am 57, single, and fortunate to have an Apex which replaced my Empower earlier this year. Sorry to year you cannot afford to get your wife's used VoiceNote repaired. Unfortunately most Voc Rehab programs do not cover maintenance on what they buy for you. Yes, the cost of current technology is expensive and older stuff will often work well for some people. The problem with really old stuff like Windows 3.1 is it is no longer supported by its makers and you cannot use present--day programs with it. But if it meets your needs that is great. Have you considered approaching your local Lions Club for help getting the VoiceNote repaired? Know they will help with the [purchase of technology, not sure if they are into maintaining it.
