I hope this question is okay to ask. I want to download the
daisy files for Jaws 11 onto my Braille Note. I selected one and
tried to put it in a folder. Instead it made its own folder.
The letters were all run together. When I opened the folder it
asked me what document I wanted to read. Since there was no
individual document in the folder, but just the folder, or you
might say book, itself, I couldn't read it so erased it.
If anyone can answer that question I'd really appreciate it.
If this next question is too off topic please forgive me. I am
kind of desperate to get this information into my Braille Note as
I want to study it while I am in the hospital with my husband.
He is having both knees operated on at the same time, with half
knee replacements, and he has other health problems as well.
I really need to learn more about jaws 11, which is on my PC. I
understand that there is a whole zipped file of all their
training materials in both daisy and voice. In other words, you
can't just pick out the daisy files, but must get it all. When I
called them they couldn't find that link. At least the rep I had
couldn't. Can anyone tell me where it is? Then I guess I have to
download it onto my PC and then unzip it, but then should be able
to copy it to the Braille Note. Is that right?
or if perhaps someone might already have these files on their
Braille Note and can send them to me as unzipped attachments, and
explain if there is something different I need to do when reading
daisy files, that would be great.
