Are you putting the card in when the bn is turned on or turned off? I have found an anomaly that the bn will only recognize the sd card if it inserted when the unit is switched on, which I consider rather silly and annoying. I am also running ks 8. I cannot say if this is new to ks 8 because I only started using an sd card with my bn after upgrading.

Hi,
What is the capacity on your card? That'll help us determine something
here... If it is 4 GB or higher or if it is an HC card, then sorry to inform
you that it will not work with the mPower...
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] recognising an sd card with the BrailleNote

Hi Everyone

Since upgrading to keysoft 8.0 with the BrailleNote, I have had problems
recognising an sd card with the BrailleNote. I have been using one
particular card with the victor reader stream as well, so I don't know
whether the stream had encrypted the card. Then I managed to reformat the
card with my netbook. However, the bn still won't recognise it. Is there
any particular sd card I now require for the bn as it is using keysoft 8.0?
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Cheers
Peter
