Hello,

As others have already stated, while it is doable (at least with the Apex), at this moment in time it would require HW to build some form of a Skype interface into KeySoft, probably as a part of KeyChat. But as someone (I believe Alex) stated, there is no SDK (Software Development Kit) available for the BrailleNote and KeySoft; until HW releases one, if they ever do, then only HW and close partners can create applications for the BrailleNote, including Skype support. The other thing is that while Skype would be a nice feature, it is probably not particularly high on HW's priority list in terms of features to implement. There was a discussion as to whether Skype should be implemented on the BrailleNote during the first session of the seventh BrailleNote chat, conducted by Joseph Lee a couple of weeks ago. The recording of the chat is available at http://www.braillenote.pbworks.com if anyone would like to take a listen.

Subject: [Braillenote] could skype be a possibility on the apex

Not to perhaps beat a dead horse, but would it be possible for some of you programmer experts out there to make a skype-lite version that would work on the Apex? I know HW would have to sanction it and all, but why not?? Jim
