I've tried this now with two modems but, with only the modem option as a
possibility, I was unable to send files either way, though did appear to be
able to pair and activate.
The only other item I could try is a laptop which, of course, may give me
more options. Is this still worth a go ...?
Has anyone else got further with this yet?

Yesterday I needed to export a keyword document to a
Microsoft Word document ready for viewing on a PC. While
I was exporting the document, I decided to play around a
bit. When I was at the prompt "Export to which device?
currently file", I decided to check to see what other
options were there as on the mPower, the only other
option had been the serial port and there's no serial
port on the Apex. Well, the other two choices were USB
Client and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I do not have
another Bluetooth device around at the moment so I cannot
test this, but does this mean that for documents at
least, file transfer via Bluetooth is supported? If it
isn't, then it looks pretty likely that it will be in the
not too distant future as this looks like the foundation
for it.
