Hi,
Welcome to the list, and to the world of the Braillenote.

1. I find it easiest to move files from a pc onto a storage card or
thumb drive, then from there onto the bn. This lets me avoid
ActiveSync altogether (I am not a fan of the program, though it is not
too hard to use). You can also email the files to yourself, or use a
web server to upload them on the computer then download them on the
bn. That is advanced, though, and not many people would feel
comfortable doing things that way, plus it requires an internet
connection.

2. Eloquence on the apex is choppy and horrible, at least to my ear,
so I just stick with Keynote Gold. Humanware has said that they have
gotten it to work better on the apex, but I have not found this to be
the case at all. Oh, and your example sentence made perfect sense to
me.
