Hello there, Tom, and group.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but I think it is how to find and deleet a particular section of a file.

If this is so, would it not be easier to put the file on a usb or some sort of memmory card, and transfer it to a pc, where you can go through, and deleet like that?

To do this on a normal pc:

1. Open the file, either by going into my computer, my documents, or where-ever you have it loaded.

2. Hit cnt f, and type in the text string.

3. Once the string has been located, (with window eyes anyrate) hit and hold cnt and right arrow, in order to select the desired passage.

4. Hit backspace when all text has been selected, and the text will be erased. Note: the eraised text is only what you have preselected according to instruction 3.

Regards: Blake.

I know it would take a long time But that is the only thing I
could come up with at the time. If I think of something else I
will let you know.

Hi Malaina,
Nice idea, but it sounds really labor-intensive, especially if
the book is
several hundred print pages long. Hmmm, maybe I'll try it,
though.

Thanks.

I don't know if this a a work round you want to try but I think
it could
work. I just tried it a little. While in keyword open the brf
file. What
I did was I went to the search command only and type in 3 dashes.
I am
sure you could do more. Once I did this it said 36 dashes or 38
dashes. I
then used top and bottom place markers an deleted the block.
This might
take longer then what you were trying but i think it would would
work.

Malaina
