Hi all, I just got the new Apex case. As was mentioned by other posters, the major difference seems to be that there is no velcro on the right-most strap holding the Apex in the back, the one on the corner between the VGA port and the AC adapter port. So far (about five minutes) it seems that this case is more stable and has a slightly larger front flap, so the magnets should seal better and not be so stressed like they were in the old case. Aside from that the two seem identical. Still, if you have an old case, I urge you to ask hw for a new one to prevent disaster (the Apex may fall right out of the old case). It should not cost you anything to replace the old case with the new one, though you may have to accept the package and sign for it as I had to.
