Hi,
Perhaps they were saying two things at once...
Copying a URL... In essence, copying the address of a website (from KeyWord,
KeyMail, etc.) and pasting at "Address" prompt when you go into Internet
(KeyWeb).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] copying an url from clipboard into keyweb

I apologize to the List for my ignorance here, but I'm confused.
Alex and Peggy, among others, have written clearly on this topic,
but somewhere I'm missing something important. Copying a URL
into Keyweb means what? I've looked through the manual, and only
see the word barely mentioned in Chapter 12, and only loosely
defined in Chapter 01 as

An internet browser called KeyWeb, that allows you to search
and use the world wide web and also read locally stored html
documents.

Ok, I don't see anywhere where Keyweb speaks to me. It is
loosely defined in the Manual, but shows up nowhere in the
Empower's prompts to my knowledge. Instead, I'm having my
problems with entering long URL's to my many daily Google
searches. Backspace V and Backspace k seem useless there.
Here's my question:

I painstakingly copy long URL's, careful to edit out any
line-breaks, but still Keyweb seems to let me down, as Google
Search never works for me with (underscore) long URL's. Please
clear my confusion.

Gratefully,

David
