Hi,
Only if it was presented as a utility option later... The code for
accomplishing this task is just one line:
Delete /flash disk/dictionaries/devname.sys
There are other system files in that folder, so be careful.
Cheers,
joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] how to reset your apex's name

Hi all,
Here is how to reset your apex's name to the default if you have changed it.

1. Go to main menu, then file manager, then directory.
2. Select the flash disk, then the dictionaries folder.
3. Press space-x (read-x on qt) until you see "list of all, including
hidden files".
4. Move down to "devName.sys" and hit the delete command. On a bt it
is backspace-1-4. Say yes to the confirmation prompt.
5. Reset from the file manager menu. When the apex returns to the main
menu, look at your computer name (options, connectivity, setup
options). It should be the default name again.
