Ok thanks. I probably need one for the apex. Is it the same
process as authorizing the victor reader stream, but instead pick
Apex instead?

You definitely need a key. Maybe HW preloaded one, I am not
sure.
The Apex shipped with 9.0, which is just 8.0 but for the Apex.
Basically, there is a speed increase because of the better
hardware in
the Apex, but no functional differences in the DAISY player (and
even
several bugs that I have found).

Thanks Alex. I'd been helping him and had forgotten about the
download version. But I thought you didn't need an
authorization
key. I thought it came with the bn. Or at least, my bn was
able
to play rfb books. Oh, and also, is there a difference in what
ks 8 and ks 9.02 does with the books? Just curious because I
have
9.02.

Hi List,
A few questions about my apex:
1. Does YTube work on the apex?
No, though you may be able to manage comments and other
text-only
areas of your account, or others' videos, from their mobile site
(loaded by default on the bn). However, playing videos,
uploading, and
other things will not work.
2. Is there a way to change your Gmail password using KeyWeb?
I have not tried that particular change, but you can change
settings.
Open gmail.com on the bn, go down to the bottom, and hit
backspace to
move back by link until you hear "basic HTML". Press enter,
then, once
the page loads, do a search for the word "settings" (search is
space-f). Press enter on the settings link, and go from there.
3. Can I hook up my Victor Reader Stream to my bn?
I believe so, though the companion software will not run on the
bn.
Still, I think the bn can use the Stream as a card reader if
nothing
else.
4. Do any of the Gmail settings on the bn have to be different
in Austrailia in comparison to the US? If so, which ones?
I do not live there so am not sure, but I doubt it.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Cheers,
Danielle
