The times sign is dots 4,16 and divided by is dots 46,34. Pi is dots 46,1234. The signs for plus and minus are 346 and 156.

The reason why I wouldn't recommend UEB is the braille it produces isn't proper braille math for people living in the U.S.

There is a code which is being developed called NUBS, which stands for Nemeth Uniform Braille System. I have read books about this code and I've seen this code written in these books. If you want to learn about it, go to www.braille2000.com. Locate the link for Nemeth Uniform Braille System or NUBS. I have read most of the documentation on that page. The brf files are the best, but you'll need a BN. The VoiceNote would have problems.

If any code is adopted to replace literary braille in the U.S., I'm strongly in favor of NUBS.
