Hi,
Yes - that's the theory. When the freezing occurs, the media player is still running fine, but the input drivers is getting "confused" - mostly memory thing. Certaintly CE 6.0 manages memory better, but the structure of KeySoft is such that it's not taking advantage of it yet (not now, at least, unless HumanWare is working on it).
Cheers,
Joseph

I thought the Apex was not supposed to have that problem???? (four
question marks)

Hi,
Sure. As it turns out, it happens when I listen to media files.

I know it's a bit of a bore but I think I've overcome some of the
freezing
both on the browser and with email by trying to think ahead and
doing a
reset before going in and spending lots of time and energy (and
memory). We
shouldn't have to do this though as the memory ought to be better
managed.
... Anyway, this may help someone sometimes.

Yet another reason for me to stay away from keymail and
keep using the gMail website... How long an email are we
talking, anyway? Is it a freeze or just a keyboard
lockup? That is, next time it happens, see if your scroll
wheel still works (of course the wheel will have to be
enabled before the test). Sometimes my bn seems to
freeze, but the wheel will still work. If I wait about a
minute, the rest of my input controls (keyboard, thumb
keys, touch cursor) will start working again and all is
 well.

And if it's important it's even more important that the

Thank you!!! It's quite frustrating, especially if it's
 important.

 Hi, mostly for HumanWare staff,
I now know why people are frustrated with freezing unts,
 as I've encountered it:
Description: When writing long emails, Apex (9.0.2)
freezes and requires either reset, turning off and on
the unit or cancelling email composition.
 Cheers,
 Joseph
