Well, I was using Grade 2 English braille.

I'd be interested if others get it to work correctly could tell us what braille they're using.

Thanks!

This is a known bug, but I, too, cannot find a
workaround. My theory is that it may depend on the grade
of braille in use, but I am not sure.

Hi Don,

Indeed, I do get the same results as yourself in this ...

I understand this is a known issue as I reported a
little while back about not being able to find text in
an email if you wanted to search beyond the new message
you were writing, so back into the previous one. It
would find in the previous one once the cursor was
positioned at the top of that point.

At that time I think I learned that your current dilemma
was a known problem.

I'm sure Tom has this one but will send him an email in
case ...

mystery.

Hello to all, I am hoping that someone on our list can
find an answer to what is becoming a bit of a mystery.
following an email to the list I sent a few days ago,
Brandon contacted me regarding my assersion that there
Were problems with the "find and replace" facility. He
stated that his Apex performed these operations
perfectly. Well, mine certainly doesn't. I asked for
his help and sent him a short test piece and asked him
to
change all the commas into periods, using the Apex.
Sure
enough, he immediately returned the piece with the
punctuation altered. My Apex certainly can't do it,
though it can be achieved on an Mpower. I have
contacted
Humanware who state that it has been logged as a
definite
fault, and agreed with my findings. I know we are all
short of time, but I would be very grateful if any one
could try writing a few sentences, involving commas and
periods, and then, using the standard "find and replace"
on an Apex, try to reverse them. It could well help get
to the bottom of it. Perhaps there is some get around,
though at the moment, we can't fathom it. Don Cooper.
