What Alice is talking about, I think I've experienced as well. But I've not been able to re-create it upon trial. My unit is an mPower Voicenote KS version 31. I open a word document, read for 30 seconds, and exit. When I return, I'm well into the document, no problem here.

That is very strange. I don't have a PK, but, when I exit and
then reopen a
txt file, I am right back where I left off.

Hi, Nicole,
Now don't laugh...I have a PK running 7.5. I am ot sure
about braille
files, I'll have to check that, but the documents I've been
dealing with
most lately have been .txt files.
Thanks.
For example, I've been studying an opera libretto, I'll stop
somewhere
in Act 2, then when I open it up again, I'm back to the
beginning.

Can you please tell us what model of bn you have and what ks
version it
is running? Also, just to clarify, this happens regardless of
file type,
even if it is a keyword Braille file?

Hi, all,
Is there a way to leave a .txt or whatever document in
keyword and
[email protected], all,
When I leave a document I am reading or working on in
keyword, be it
.txt or whatever, when I return to it, I'm always thrown back to
the
beginning of the document. Then I have to find my place all
over again.
Is there a way to make the document open after shutting down so
that you
are in the same place you were when you exited? You know, sort
of like in
the book reader: when you stop reading and exit then open the
book again,
you're right where you put the cursor when you stopped reading.
Thanks.
Alice
