What Alice is talking about, I think I've experienced as well.
But I've not been able to re-create it upon trial. My unit is an
mPower Voicenote KS version 31. I open a word document, read for
30 seconds, and exit. When I return, I'm well into the document,
no problem here.

beginning of the document. Then I have to find my place all
over again.
Is there a way to make the document open after shutting down so

are in the same place you were when you exited? You know, sort
of like in
the book reader: when you stop reading and exit then open the
book again,
you're right where you put the cursor when you stopped reading.
