Jabber transports. Software that runs on the Jabber server and pretends that contacts on another network really belong to the Jabber network. KeyChat only speaks Jabber so this is the only workaround. The process is complicated. I've been wondering if I shouldn't set up a server with a web interface for people to subscribe to, but the one problem with that is you'd have to give me your usernames and passwords for your other IM networks. Is there any interest? If somebody here would like to volunteer, contact me off-list and I can demonstrate using an account on my Jabber server what it is like to get MSN on your BrailleNote. I get to learn how best to automate the process, and you get free MSN (and Jabber) access on your BrailleNote. For this to work, presently, you would have to have a Jabber ID of [email protected].
