Hi,
Two ways: one is the one you mentioned, the other is just connecting the
necessary adapter cable. The converter is part of the actual AC adapter
which can handle 100 to 240 volts (sorry, can't explain this electronics
stuff well)...

wouldn't you have to bring a electric converter from US to what 
ever the destination country is to have juice in the apex?
