Hi, Er... That's an interesting observation... Maybe Alex would have better idea of connection between CS and physics. But I can definitely tell you that the study of putting electric juice and all about electronics is called electrical engineering - sort of relevant (I think) since we are discussing hardware... As for the original question at hand, recent mPower units and Apex comes with two piece adapter. This allows using the unit in multiple countries using correct cord. One of the cord piece is fixed to the rectangular device (I don't know the exact term for it) while the correct cord is plugged into the socket on the other side of the box. As for adapter comparisons, it is somewhat easier to handle mPower adapters than Apex (could be my own unit). Cheers, Joseph

Well, on a different note, computer science does need a little physics in my opinion because you at least need something to charge the device, therefore allowing for enough juice for a computer program to run. haha thanks! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Lee" <[email protected] To: "'dreicer, zachary'" <[email protected]>,"'Braillenote'" <[email protected] Date sent: Fri, 10 Dec 2010 06:10:00 -0800 Subject: RE: [Braillenote] apex in a different country Hi, Two ways: one is the one you mentioned, the other is just connecting the necessary adapter cable. The converter is part of the actual AC adapter which can handle 100 to 240 volts (sorry, can't explain this electronics stuff well)...
