Hi folks,

Just an update to let you know that I'm working on the third anniversary
edition of BrailleNote PBWorks, as well as planning the website agenda for
2011.

First, I'd like to take this time to thank people who've visited the site
and gave me valuable feedback on content (and sometimes, spelling errors).
without your help, BrailleNote PBWorks in its current form would not be here
- since most of the content on the site is result of your suggestions and
comments. I (the admin) will continue to listen to your comments as I
develop the site further in 2011.

Second, I'd like to give you sort of a teaser picture for what's coming in
the third anniversary edition of BrailleNote PBWorks (and in future
versions). First, a significant number of articles will be combined as an
FAQ page - one per each of the support categories. This means you can find
most asked question about a given program on single page, which would help
load the site faster. Second, some of the article formats will be changed to
help navigate the page better and to load them faster on mobile devices,
particularly for those who are using BrailleNote or other cell phone devices
to browse the site. Candidates include articles on Support Information Mode
or other articles which uses excessive number of headings. Third, the site
will receive significant visual and navigation updates (mostly for sighted
visitors), including color coding of content, links to homepage on all
articles and additional anchors (same page links). Lastly, the command
summary table will be finished before summer 2011 - and will be availible as
a downloadable document (with HW's permission), which the first step will be
laid in a major version of PBWorks site due to be released early next year.

Third, few comments on website content for 2011: PBWorks 7.1 is the last
version to support BrailleNote Classic units (ones before mPower), meaning
that starting with version after 7.1, no new content will be added for those
models (existing content will still be there). There are two major versions
left for PK - so the last content for PK will be added by end of 2011 (and
no more; existing content by then will still be there). mPower and Apex will
still be honored - mPower will be supported until a year after last SMA
announcement from HW.

Again, I'd like to thank you for continued support and comments on the
BrailleNote PBWorks over the past (almost) three years, and I'll continue to
improve upon your suggestions in upcoming year. To visit the site, go to
http://braillenote.pbworks.com. If you have any comments about the site (or
anything), feel free to contact me anytime (and I'll try my best to answer
your comment as soon as possible).

Sincerely,
Joseph S. Lee
