I think I missed a message somewhere as this sounds like a
continuation. However, the newer Ambicom cards will do that.
You must
turn off the mPower (or pk or classic), insert the card, and then
turn
the bn back on. Wait, I am not sure the classic will support

newer card. Anyway, I think you have an mPower, so you should be
okay.
Just turn off the bn before inserting the card.
