I personally like keynote gold speech and dispize elequence but thats my preference. I like espeak for its acsents and wide language support but it is free so i don\t think its probable. Perhaps the human sounding voices that fs have and i got for nvda. But again they are heavy on memory and braillenote may only be able to cope with one at a time - you'd probably have to pick the one you want and download it and if you wanted another remove it and download that one.
Or maybe ivona voices but i think they are also free but not sure.

First, the ability to change sounds should definitely be included.
However, I suspect that it is one of those features hw will consider
to be not worth the investment... sdk, please!
As to Eloquence, I am not sure what version the bn runs and if there
is a better one. However, I agree that something should be done, since
the currently running version is horrible to read with, chopping up
sentences and taking up large amounts of memory.

As far as eSpeak, I personally feel that it is a horrible synth and I
would never use it, but that is just me. I am not sure it could be
done anyway, though, because hw would make money off of its sale as
part of their product and I think its license terms prevent that. I am
not sure about Pico or any of the other free synths, but the same
thing probably applies.

Excuse me?
New version of Eloquence? How is this posible?
That is a cool idea, though!
Why not adding ESpeek?
It's quit small, and could work with the apex, I believe.
I don't know why HW didn't add that as a second speech synth, to add
to the colection.
Or, Pico?
Thoughts?

Hi,
I suggest that Humanware puts in a feature where you can change
certain sounds such as progress tones, for example. Also, what
about a newer version of eloquence?
What does everybody think?
