I am not sure why this is stated, as I know people who use hotmail with their bn with no problems.

Sorry, but KeyMail cannot send mail through HotMail because KeyMail doesn't support the Extended SMTP STARTTLS command, only the obsolete direct-SSL SMTP method using an alternative port.
