KNG is the original speech for the bn and some old PC software. I very much prefer it to any other synth out there, but everyone has strong opinions on what the best synth is. Eloquence is a popular synth found in Mobile Speak, JAWS, newer versions of Window-Eyes, and so on. It takes more memory and, in my opinion, sounds choppy and all-around bad on the bn. If you have an mPower, stick with kng if you can, to avoid the extra memory and processing power that Eloquence requires. On an Apex it does not matter, but Eloquence still has an annoying lag which becomes quite noticeable when typing rapidly or trying to hear the first few words of a sentence before moving to the next one.
