When he is somewhere where he cannot connect, just have him go to the
options menu, hit c, then hit u (for "connect using existing
configuration"). This will bring up the configuration prompt. If that
does not work, try deleting the configurations for the places where
wifi seems to no longer work, then re-create them by scanning for
networks and pressing enter on the one he wants, then filling in any
required information and saving the new configuration like normal.
