Hello to all, I would personally add to the list of detected
bugs on the Apex, being compiled the continuing addition of
protection to cdb files when copying databases. I can think of
no good reason why this has crept into the Apex programming; it
was never a feature on the Mpower. As I thought I'd made clear
in my recent email, the "find-and-replace" bault only applies to
Braille files. Obviously, those using qwerty keyboards, are not
affected as they are presumably using text files. Yes, a
work-around is to change these Braille files into text files
which can be read in grade 2 Braille, if that's what you want.
However, one must remember that all corrections have to be
carried out in computer Braille. here again, this was not
necessary with the Apex. I quite agree with one contributor who
urged patience. However, I can't help reflecting that I have now
had my Apex for well over a year and these initials faults,
though understandable and indeed admitted by the firm, still
remain uncorrected.
