Hi,
I saw in the email that I'm replying to that you were talking
about the hotkey for each thing in a menu. You you know what the
hotkey for signing into instant messaging is? I tried I, S, and
these two don't work. Do you know what key to press there?

The bn family has been, from the start, a companion or pda, not a
pc
replacement. None of these devices (bn, sense, braille plus,
even
iTouch or Android phones and tablets) are meant to fully replace
a pc
base station. That said, there are plenty of things that can be
done
to increase productivity (twitter, podcasting, internet radio,
pdf
viewing, email stabilizing, games, and more). At the end of the
day,
though, all these devices are meant to go with you and help you
when
you are not at a pc, but not meant to take the place of a pc
entirely.
Yes, you can move through menus with space and backspace, or
space-1
and space-4, or press the hotkey (almost always the first letter)
of
the option you want, or use the thumb keys. Navigation is quite
straightforward in most situations.

Hi;
I realize I am a newcomer here but I'm not certain that a
notetaker will
ever perform all the functions of a pc. It appears that on the
surface
at least the current version of keysoft has covered most of the
basics.
I wish they had included a podcast program as well as
something for
internet radio in that I sort of got used to them on my braille
plus but
there are work around for those problems.
Do people find they generally use the internal memory or opt for
an s d
card? Also, are there methods to basically arrow through the
menus or
are you forced to memorize chord commands as one did with the
good old
braille n speak?
I haven't looked at the hw site in a while but did someone state
that
there are a series of podcast there discussing this beast?
Thanks
