I have found, sometimes, that it is not frozen when it does this. Just
wait a minute or so, and/or press all nine keys on the keyboard and
release them at once. Admitedly, I have not seen this since 9.0, but
it may be what is going on. In short, just give it a minute to recover
before resetting. Also, just FYI, saving a file is simply exiting the
file and re-opening it. The space-s keystroke will save as well, but I
think it takes longer since there are more prompts.
