Not that I know of, no.

The only way is to set your text document reading grade to grade 2,
then open a text document. The braille will show up in grade 2, but
putting your cursor on a word will expand that word to computer
braille. This is the closest thing I can think of to what you are
asking.

New line is dollar sign p, line break is dollar sign l (you almost
never see this), new page is dollar sign f, bold on is dollar sign
fsb, bold off is dollar sign feb. Dollar sign is an ed sign. Those are
all the ones I can think of.

No. However, I did not have much luck using brltty with my apex on
Windows 7 64 bit.
