There is no way to put kng on a computer, which is very unfortunate. The only way is to do as you said and use the mPower; you need a serial cable with a femaile 9 pin plug on both ends. However, I am not sure of the procedure to set all of it up, and many computers nowadays don't even come with serial ports on them.
