apologies for the misspelling, Terri. You certainly bought your Apex at a good time as you missed out on all the fun of the fair with the initially sluggish keyboard. One could be a little more blunt about the UK issue and say that it is odd that one can type a vertical bar with one keystroke but that to represent our sovereign currency requires the minimum of one ergonomically deleterious key combination followed by one and often two more keystrokes. Those who migrated from the Pacmate will remember the steps to this particular dance very well of course, as three years ago exactly the same discussion was had about that particular product. It's jolly inconvenient really and I hope it's resolved so typing on this thing can truly be as pleasant as typing on the MPower was. One other thing that occurs: why is it no longer possible to activate the record button on the Apex when the machine is switched off? I rather thought that was the whole point of having a handy voice memos feature. Again, this is something it could learn from its father, so to speak. Thank goodness they haven't inflicted capitalised Braille on the uninitiated though, for that much we conservative british must drink their health. Well, cheers.
