No, because if he does this, I think it'll go back to the
corrupted version, does anyone know?

Well, then, can Randy delete his renamed copy of email
folders.cdb that he renamed to email.cdb?

Sure!

OK. First, go to the file manager. Press D for directory.
Then, press enter if the drive offered is the flash disk, if not,
press the letter F. Then, go to the Keymail folder. After that,
when you are in the list of files, press space with X until you
see list of all including hidden files in keymail folder. Then
go down the list until you see email folders dot cdb. Then,
press backspace with R to rename it and then type a name such as
"email." (without the quotes or period. Then press enter. After
that, go to keymail and select write email. It should prompt
that the database for email folders does not exist and ask you if
you want to create it. Press y. And then everything should work
normally again. Please let me know if you have any issues at all
and I will do my best to help you.
I hope this helps!
Best of luck to you,
Josh

Hi, OK... um... I have had this happen before... on my
mpower. My
guess is, then, that your email database is corrupted. The one
thing that
you could try is to rename the email folders dot cdb file in the
keymail
folder. If you need help on how to do this, just let me know.
 Best,
 Josh

 Hi, Randi,
In your example of there being 8 email on the server, is it just
the one
message that does not download, or is it all of them?

Subject: [Braillenote] keymail is behaving strangely

 Hi All,

I've been using keymail for quite awhile now, and tonight it
started
 behaving strangely.

I'm using the Apex BT32. When I press the letter S to
send/receive, it
acts like it's getting new mail and says "receiving 1 of 8" and
then I get
a message saying "error receiving message 1 the operation
completed
successfully." If there is a messsage, I can't do anything with
it like
move it to trash or any folder. The last time I tried sending
myself a
test message, it said it was receiveing 1 of 1. Then the
message that the
operation completed successfully... No message was there.

I've tried both the standard reset and 456 reset with no luck.
Haven't
tried the 123 reset yet... I really don't feel like reloading
the
dictionary and my wifi settings tonight...

 Any suggestions?

 Thanks,

 Randi
