Tim, do you mean the dots are just not showing up? Are some dots
stuck in one position, while others are not? Or, are the pins
just not there? If it's the stuck dots, this could be the
battery, I have had this happen before. If it's the pins...
sorry... can't really
help there.
Best,
Josh

Subject: [Braillenote] braille display mest up
hello folks- my braille display isn't working properly. I think
the pins in the display is wareing out. I don't have the money
to replace it and the note taker itself is no longer under
worntey. I was wandering what kind of things I could try to
amend the problem. It's a braillenote impower 7.5 but it
arriginally was a 7.2 moddle upgraded to a 7.5
This is risky but I was thinking about bying parts for the
display and home making myself a better display. I have even
exercized it and it doesn't really help it. It does to a point
but it never fixes it. I think the dot 4 is missing on the
display as well. I really can't be sure as it is so bad that
when I use the display i have to look at it like 3 or 4 times
just to make out what I am trying to read. any help would be
greatly appriciated. thanks yall.
