Dear Mike, thanks for your well detailed email This is not unusual
since the batteries
voltage may change quickly when taking it's first recharges. This
technology is
not the most recent, this is why a calibration is required. My first
suggestion
would be to perform a service reset: for this, press and hold together
the reset
and record button for 3 seconds.
My other recommendation would be to clean out all battery cycle logs in
the NONE
folder of your Flash Disk. A last recalibration might be required, if
not, call
us in with the device and we can try a few things together. Our Toll

When I went to the none folder on the flash disk, I found a file called
51291 battery cycle log 1.txt, and another file called 51291 battery
cycle log 2.txt. Are these the log files that Sam was refering to? He
said I should try doing a service reset with the record and reset
buttons held down for three seconds. Once I do this, what effect, if
any, will this have on my unit?
