If anyone wants to join a dedicated list for iPad/iPhone/iTouch
users who are blind (who use VoiceOver), please write to me, Alex
or other Apple users/potential users off list please.
To go back to the original message at hand, it is in fact the
flash chip that has gone bad. There's not really a way of fixing
this unless if HW decides to put in a new flash chip in there
(128 MB chip is quite rare, although I think specialty chips
might exist in that capacity; the smallest (I think) would be 512
MB). So, I'm sorry to report that, for Tim's case, you're out of
luck.
