Live in New Zealand too (for all our lives). The braillenote version 8.0
build 20 here in the manual says it supports wep and wpa-psk. It does not
mention in the wireless configuration (under options; connectivity; w to
turn on wireless; options; connectivity; option to create dial-up or lan;
set device to wireless Ethernet connection; scroll down). Try that sequence
and see what you can find. If your router is set to wpa2 and if the
braillenote does not support then that will explain things. Try changing
your router to wpa-psk to see if that will connect. Check your router if it
is using tkip or aes. The mpower likes tkip.

Subject: [Braillenote] desperately need assistance with wireless internet

Hi all. I am in New Zealand, and For over a year, I've attempted to
connect to my home network, but we are not sure what configurations we
need. Whenever I attempt to connect my braillenote mpower to the
network, the connecting message does not come up. I was also thinking,
does ks8.0 build 21 support wpa2personal?. A reply would be too good
within the next 20 minutes. Thanks again, you will never know how
brilliant you list members are!!!.
