Hi Sarah,
I think you should check both the braille options and the
keyboard options.
First, enter the options menu (space with O) hit B, (Braille
options) space until you get to the "display computer braille
using 6 or 8 dots?" hit H (for 8 dots)
Next, enter the options menu again (space with O), hit K and
space until you get to "use 6 or 8 dot computer braille?" hit H
here (for 8 dots)
Now, you should be able to use backspace with dot 4 to get the at
sign.
Hopefully this will help.
Let us know if the at sign returns the way you want it.
