If you're typing in computer Braille, you will need to hit space with u (your BN, if speech is on, will say "cap") and then hit dot 4 for the at sign. This tells the BN that it is an at sign, and not a single quote.

Subject: [Braillenote] Still can't hear or feel the At sign

Hi, My BRAILLENote Apex, ever since I got 9.2 I still can't view
or hear the at sign. It doesn't let me hear it or feel it unless
I type the word at.
