A friend sent me this.
To read Html e-mail
1. Open the HTML email as you would open any other email. You
should see
a whole lot of odd characters at the top.
2. Press Space with S, to save the email. KeySoft
prompts: "Document was not modified. File name?"
3. Press Backspace until you see "Drive?" Select the drive in
which you want to save the email.
4. KeySoft prompts: "Folder name?" Select the folder in which
you want
to save the email, then press Enter.
5. KeySoft prompts: File Name? Press Backspace with X, until
you see "Create an Ascii Text File."
6. In computer braille if using a BT keyboard, type the name
of the file
and put an extension of "dishtml" at the end. and
press Enter.
7. KeySoft prompts: "Open the new document after saving?"
Press N for no.
8. You will now be in the original HTML email. Exit out of
KeyMail back to the Main Menu.
Now we can open the newly created HTML document in KeyWeb, so
that it
will be displayed correctly.
9. From the Main Menu, open KeyWeb by pressing I.
10. KeySoft prompts: "Address?" Press Backspace and navigate
to the drive and folder where you saved the file.
11. At the "Address?" prompt, press space once. KeySoft
prompts: "List of
favourites in (General) folder", where (general) is the name of
the
folder you are browsing.
12. Press Space with X. KeySoft
prompts: "List of HTML, Text and Braille Files in (General)
folder".
13. Navigate to the newly created HTML document and press
Enter.
You should now be at the top of the document and be able to
read the text as if it were a web page, without any strange
characters appearing.
