Hi folks,
A late Merry Christmas and Boxing Day to you all.
A number of updates are now up on our BrailleNote Users website,
including:
* A new tutorial on setting up a BrailleNote as a Bluetooth
braille display is now up on Media Center. For your convenience,
the tutorial has been recorded both for mPower and Apex and uses
JAWS for Windows as demonstration.
* New recordings from a user: Two new podcasts produced by Mayson
C are now up on Media Center as well; the first one is on using
Marvin Vazquez's Playlist Shuffler on your BrailleNote and a
second one demonstrates how to setup KeyChat with Google Talk and
adding a contact.
* Shutting down a BrailleNote completely: An overview article is
availible under Articles section (under Misc category) detailing
how to shut down a BrailleNote (or putting it into deep sleep)
and procedure on waking it up. Instructions are provided for PK,
mPower and Apex.
* Braille Terminal article: The aforementioned podcasts on
setting up a BrailleNote as a display has been linked from the
article itself. Also added a small word on compatibility of
BrailleNote with Orca running under Vinux (a Linux/Ubuntu
distribution with Orca and other accessibility tools added).
To find out more on these updates, go to
www.braillenoteusers.info and check out our new postings. And if
you have comments on our site, please fill out the Contact Us
form on our site so we can use it to improve our site in the
future. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Joseph Lee
