Make sure there is no pairing between the iPhone and apex. Tell the
iPhone to forget the apex (settings, general bluetooth, double tap
apex, double tap "forget device", double tap the confirmation). Also
remove any pairing that may exist on the apex's end by looking in the
list of bluetooth devices in the bluetooth menu. Finally, try shutting
down the iPhone and then turning it on again. Note that shutting down
is not locking; press and hold the lock button until vo says "slide to
power off". Double tap, or just keep holding the button down. The
easiest way to see if the iPhone is off is to have it plugged into a
computer. When it shuts down, the computer will play the "hardware
disconnected" sound, if it is a Windows machine, and you know the
phone is off.
