1. Chat service: A number of people said TeamTalk would be a
good chat service to use; however, some say that there are people
who'd like to join the chat but doesn't own a computer apart from
BrailleNote family of products. Thus, a proposal for using a
phone chat service in conjunction with TeamTalk has been
proposed, with tests conducted on Friday with mixed results.
Should we: use both TeamTalk and Conversation Station, TeamTalk
only, Conversation Station only or other audio chat services such
as Skype? I think we should use a combination of teem talk and phones. Chris
told me about a conference call service where the people using phones could
call a number and all talk together and it would not make for big phone bills.
there could be one person who has a phone and a pc and the phone could be on
speaker phone so the pc users could also hear and then when someone talked on a
phone the sound would come out the speaker phone and the mic on the pc would
pick it up. When someone talked on a pc the speaker phone would pick it up and
everyone with phones would also hear. and that would connect everyone.
