Hi all,
Has anyone noticed a massive big lag and delay and just genral lack of unresponsiveness with the BN and iOS 5 devices? I have an iPhone 4S, and an iPod tuch here, and it does exactly the same on both. Don't know if it's because I'm stil running 9.1, (God damn it school, get it sorted), or what ever. Just find it has like a 10 second delay sometimes.

Hi everyone,

As I have mentioned numerous times before on this list, there is a
three-part podcast series on the inns and outs of using the BrailleNote
with iOS devices (iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad) developed by Alex Hall,
which you can find at braillenoteusers.info/media. Part 1 explains and
demonstrates the initial pairing of the iDevice and the BN via
bluetooth, which is used to start using the BN as a Braille terminal
with the iDevice. Part 2 explains the basic Braille commands that enable
you to control the iDevice using the BN's keyboard. And part 3 details
how to use Safari on the iDevice to browse the Web with the BrailleNote.
These podcasts are very informative, and will likely answer any new BN
and iDevice combo users' questions about how it works. So I would
suggest that everyone who wants to know how to do this listen to the
podcast first and see if you can figure it out from Alex's explanation
first before asking the list. If you are still having problems or can't
figure something out, by all means post your question here, and we will
try to answer it. But I think the podcasts will help you greatly, and
are a great resource, so please check them out if you want to learn how
to use the Apex as a Braille terminal with iDevices!
Thanks,

Chris
