Hi,
The original case for the BN Apex had some serious problems, and, although
HW came out with a newer, stronger case, it still has it's drawbacks,
particularly, the flimsy straps that hold the D-rings that you fasten the
shoulder strap to. I've seen the Executive Products case and it looks
pretty sturdy. When I have some money to spare I'll probably buy one.

There is an alternative case for the Apex from Executive Products which is
far, far superior to the HW case. It may be more expensive but the
difference is infinitely worthwhile. My apex fell out of the HW case and
the fasteners came away after a while, whereas the EPI case holds it very
securely, has a much better pocket for keeping accessories, and is
generally of much better quality. I don't usually rave about products on
Email lists but this is well worth knowing.

Yes, you can order a new case. The new cases are $85.00 through Humanware.
They are better quality than what they used to be. The leather is thicker
and there is more support for the devise.
