I don't know which HW case I got in January 2010, but although I thought it was sturdy, its magnets eventually came unglued and the case stretched enough that the Apex fell out once or twice, fortunately with me intercepting it. The Executive Products case is better in all respects. My wife got me one for Christmas, and it's such an improvement over what I had. When you're using the Apex, on a table, for example, you can fold the top part back under the unit with the bottom flap inward so that it touches the magnet when folded under. Sorry, not a great description, but a great case. -- Rick

I've seen the Executive Products case and it looks pretty sturdy. When I have some money to spare I'll probably buy one.
