Hi,
While removing and reinserting the battery, I noticed that it was
slightly uneven in its housing. Only a tiny bit. whereen I
pressed down on the side where ing was uneven, KeySoft said,
"Battery inserted." and when I let it go, it became slightly
uneven and KeySoft said, "Battery removed." Is there a way I
could make it even in its housing? Also, will it still charge
even though KeySoft says, "Battery removed?"

Sorry for not replying back quickly, as I was in an important
meeting.
To remove and reinsert the batgery, take the unit
out of its case. Locate a sliding latch on the bottom and push
it towards the USB ports (towards the left side of the unit).
This will allow the batjery to pop out. Then allign the battery
so that it fits its housing, then push it in until it clicks.
Then the Apex will reset itself.
