I can't help you with the please wait messages except to say that if you have an apex and you get keysoft 9.2 then you can hit space with h when downloading a file to get a percentage but it won't work that way when you are doing offline stuff like unzipping. To make a signature for when you start a new email you need to make a keyword text document in your keymail folder called signature and if you also want a signature for when you reply to messages then make a keyword text document in your keymail folder called reply signature. The documents can say the same thing or they can be different. That is your choice. Every time you send an email the signature will be in it already. To make the signature be at the bottom of the email put the curser above it and start typing. To have the signature at the top of the email put the curser below the signature and start typing. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Please Wait Messages

Hi listers. Would it be viable to have more information provided
with "please wait" messages? For example, when unzipping Marvin's
programs onto my flash drive, it would have been helpful for the
APEX to provide me with a percentage, like JAWS does, while it's
unzipping - the same as when a file is downloading. One can't
even press the information command without it beeping at you to
say you're doing the incorrect thing. When all you get is
"please wait", that could mean anything from the BN doing it's
thing, to its being stuck in a cycle of just beeping and saying
"please wait" but not being able to get past a particular part of
what it's doing. I hope I'm making sense.

Cheers!

Michele

Ps on a different topic, if I want to identify at the end of each
email message that it was written on my BrailleNote, do I have to
do that manually each time or is it possible to create a
signature?

Thanks.
