I have made a zip file of all of Marvin's programs for keyweb as
well as alex's games for keyweb and some z8 and z5 games from
marvin that he sent me because he liked them. That zip file also
has the tetrous guide in it. If anybody wants it they can go to
http://www.sendspace.com/file/w69wpb. It is 2.8 mb. It has zip
files in side of zip files and it also has folders and sub
folders. Let me know if you need help finding something in there.
If you just want the tetrous guide and not the whole zip file
then go to http://www.sendspace.com/file/pcp7aa. For both of the
files once you click on the links I have given then press the
letter c until you find click here to start download. Let me know
if you need more help.

Jessica,
Can you let us know where we might obtain that guide? Is it a
guide for the in-built Tetris game I was referring to?

Marvin has made a tetrous guide as well as some more stuff that
will
run in keyweb.

Listers, I apologize if you saw any strange encoding issues in

Ruchi and all,
Another resource to download interactive fiction games, with a
little more guidance, is called Baf's Guide to the Interactive
Fiction Archive. The address is as
follows: http://www.wurb.com/if/
There are also two titles included with every BrailleNote,
Winter
Wonderland and Dragon Adventure, that are designed especially
for
children. Games are simply files, so you can easily transfer
titles to the BrailleNote by copying the appropriate files to
the
'My Games' folder of the Flash Disk through any normal means.
The BrailleNote will only play text adventure games written in
z-code, and the game files will have a .z5 or .z8 extension.
I'm
not sure really how engaging young children would find these
games as they are completely text based and involve a lot of
reading, but it never hurts to give it a go. To play a game,
simply open the 'Games' application from the main menu, and
press
SPACE to browse through the files in the 'My Games' folder. The
games I mentioned will be called winter.z5 and dragon.z5.
Apart from the text adventures, there aren't huge numbers of
games that can be played on BrailleNotes. Another gentleman on
this list, Alex Hall, has written a few accessible games that
can
be played in the BrailleNote's web browser. I am sure he will
jump in and tell you where you might be able to get those games.
Finally, there's a hidden Tetris game included on BrailleNotes.
Bizarrely, it's under Utilities, Key Management. To play it,
select "Enter a new product key" and type the word playtime
followed by ENTER. The game then comes up and there's a help
menu to walk you through the user interface, but I'm not
familiar
enough with Tetris to tell you how to play it.
Cheers,
Grant
