Malaina,
I was relaying information based on what I've been hearing about the
experiences of QT owners after receiving the IOS update.
I at least think people should be aware that some folks seem to be having
problems.
My wife has been in contact with people who have.
Thus I'm admittedly reporting indirect information.
On the other hand, when the initial QT problem happened, I knew folks who
had already updated, and of course, couldn't go back to the prior version.
My wife was one of them, and I compared my BT with her QT at that time.
I was just suggesting that QT users might want to make sure there won't be a
problem before taking an iPhone update which may pose problems.
In this case I don't have any direct experience, and Deb finds the
workaround, and constantly re-implementing it, to be a nuisance, so she
tends to use the Refresh-a-Braille instead.
I don't want to see anyone have problems, and if what I've heard about the
update turns out to be false, that wouldn't bother me a bit. I hope your QT
use continues to be trouble-free.
