Yes, that is precisely the method I use to configure the connection.
The connection gets added to the connection configuration database
successfully. The username and password are only required when you
actually establish the connection, so the log-on list doesn't come up
until you are actually connecting for the first time.

Amy, have you successfully connected to a campus network that requires
a username and a password?
